Registration

For access to the NEMO cluster, you'll need to register to the service first.

Register to the NEMO service

Following steps are necessary to register for the service and gain access to the NEMO cluster:

  1. If you don't have the bwForCluster entitlement please request (step 1) it first
  2. Goto https://bwservices.uni-freiburg.de
  3. Choose your University or Institution

    4. You will be redirected to the login page of your University or Institution

  4. Login with username and password given by your University

    5. You are now entering the protected area of the website bwServices of the University of Freiburg

  5. Choose "NEMO Cluster (pre-bwForCluster ENM) - Service description"

    6. You are presented an overview page
    Please do NOT register for the bwForCluster (inactive)

  6. Register for the service

    7. If this fails, you may be missing the entitlement s. below for Problems section

  7. Set a service password "NEMO Cluster (pre-bwForCluster ENM) - Set service password"
  8. You can login to the NEMO cluster

Possible Problems

 

Error: "bwForCluster" Entitlement is not delivered by your home organisation. Pleas contact the user support of your home organization.

Error bwGRiD Entitlement

Solution: Please contact your local user support on how to get this entitlement. Users of the University of Freiburg can use this form. To check your entitlements first please visit this page.
